This past weekend I went with the Kirks to the Iowa State Fair. The plan was to go Saturday and Sunday, and come home Sunday Night. Saturday was really fun, but insanely hot. We ate a lot of food, got a lot of tatoos, tried some samples, and basically did all the normal stuff. We also went to 2 concerts, Abba Mania, and Vocal Trash, which are AMAZING! Then we went back to the Bettes house and played Wii till about 12 o' clock at night. The next morning we all slept in really late, played some wii, then celebrated Mackenzie's birthday. Its kind of tradition ( just happens to always happen) that SOMEBODY gets hurt when the kirks go on vacation. We were about a minute from getting out the door to the fair for the last day, when austin jumped over the couch, hit his head, and blood gushed out all over. We took him to the medical clinic, and he had to get stitches. Unfortunatly the doctor said he couldn't do anything for 24 hours, which meant no fair. So we ate dinner at the Bettes, and went home.
