School; seminary; running!!!

Wow, I havn't updated since school started. Well..obviously a lot has happend. My classes are pretty hard, I'm up with a couple of hours of homework a night. Then I have to wake up at 5:40 every morning for seminary, with some immature kids. Like one who refused to listen to Sister Jacobs, who just asked him to move, cause he was being disruptive, and he runs out to his car leaving the classroom. Oh yeah, did I mention this kid was 17. Its a little annoying. Then I go to school, where I'm loaded with more homework, then sent out the door to 2 hours of hard running practice. We had our first meet last tuesday at prairie. I came in 25th out of 120 girls, which isn't too bad, but I was pretty upset with my time. However, I can't be too sad, cause atleast I made it home without being carried off in a stretcher. 5 girls were carried off to he hospital because of the heat. It was soo hot that day, we ran in 97 degree weather and it was awful. I remember slowing up a lot at the last half mile, thinking that everyone was gonna pass me. Nobody did, and thats cause everybody else did the same thing, NOBODY could keep up a fast pace. It hurt after awhile to even walk. Yesterday we had another meet at Pleasent Valley, unfortunatly I couldn't run because i have acelles tendanitis. Not sure how to spell that. The Linn-mar sports trainer told me I shouldn't run, and wasn't gonna let me, but i didn't let coach on in that little tid bit of information. So i showed up at the meet ready to run, started the warm up, felt fine, and as SOON as we started going up one of the hills on the course, it throbbed. It was the worst feeling in the world, and coach saw the pain. So instead I took splits, and watched my team run without me. That was really hard, cause it was the first race ever that I had sat out of cause of an injury.

The Friday night before the meet I went over to Lauren Waltons house, where we had a bonfire with, Courtney; Maddi; Ashley; Katy; Sam P; Sam H; Chaz; and Whitney. It was so much fun, unfortunatly I had to leave early, since I was waking up early the next day for the meet, which I didn't even end up participating in. Tomorrow we have practice again, and I'm praying I can run. Cause the next meet is on Thursday, at Noelridge, and thats my favorite race. So I'm gonna be icing like crazy, and telling my coach and parents that "i'm fine". And hopefully I can pull through the race.

:-) I WILL run this race! ha.
